How do I make sushi at home and what do I need to make it?

I’ve only had sushi and sushi bars or restaurants but I want to make my own for my family. I am 100% lost as where to begin. I’ve found lots of how-to sites but I live in rural Wisconsin and I have no idea where to get the actual food items. Please help!
