What type of cultural food is the healthiest? (Chinese, Italian, Indian, Greek, etc)?

if i was to order takeout, what place would have the healthiest selections? i think Japanese food is pretty healthy, Italian food probably isn’t with all the pasta and cheese….but what else? any examples of your favorite cultural cuisine?

I think Japanese food and Cantonese food are the healthiest. Both suggests moderate balance of meat and vegetables and usually not very oily and spicy. Well personally Iike Japanese sushi and that’s why I created one to share about different types of sushi in the japanese cuisine

  4. Like everyone else says, Japanese/Chinese…but only if its’ cooked authentic…if it’s cooked American style, it will have a lot more oil, etc., in it.

  5. I would say Greek (grilled, lots of veggies, olive oil is healthy, lean meats) and Indian (largely vegetarian, or tandoori oven cooked meat… leave off sauce).

Chinese takeout is very fatty as is Japanese, unless you get sushi, but even that has cholesterol.
