ha i agree i had drug free labour and would do it again, i think the pain and feeling if labour and birth is amazing!

  2. I Gave birth …
I Gave birth naturally and its not that bad!! woman who use the epidural are just pussy’s -im using my boyfriends account

  3. well, all I know is …
well, all I know is that I had an epidural with my first child and it allowed me to relax and sleep til I could dilate fully to a 10. Then I was able to continue with labor. If I hadn’t taken it, I am not sure I could’ve been able to relax enough to go through the rest of the labor, I was very tired by that point and I was not progressing.

I like the idea of …
I like the idea of epidural. I want it! I dont think it is a sin if I want the pain relief during birth giving. I admire women who dont take it. But it really doesnt encourage! The pain must b sooooo terrible!

  5. Why do you folks …
Why do you folks give negative points to facts? Hospitals are deceiving us and most choose to look the other way. The above statement is 100% true.

Please folks. Don’t allow the pharmaceutical and medical companies blind you to the truth by just taking what they say as fact. They’re businesses who are out to make money just like any other. Many of them don’t care how they do it.

I’m not saying ALL of them are bad. It’s just up to US to do the research and not just count on what we’re spoon fed

  6. You’re absolutely …
You’re absolutely right and I completely agree with you. However, it is important that women see both sides of this. My wife is having our baby at home and people gasp when they hear this. Most believe that a home birth is not possible. What the heck did women do before hospitals? It’s a natural process. It is VERY possible and, in most cases, SAFER.

If a women chooses to drug herself and her baby up, yes, it’s up to her. They tell you not to take drugs while pregnant. Yet they pump you full.

  7. What! its not a …
What! its not a matter of being strong or not! its a choice and a personal one!

  8. Go ahead and give …
Go ahead and give my comment negative points. It truly doesn’t matter. What matters is that those who did so are so blinded by the medical illusion, they don’t look at the facts. It’s a FACT that home births have less of a mortality rate than hospital births. LOOK IT UP.

Also, they give you Pitocin. It’s a FAKE Oxytocin. That’s the hormone that is release in natural birth. It doesn’t happen with an epidural, so they have to give you the fake one.

Oxytocin helps mom and baby bond. Please read!

  9. some pain lol

    Yeah but you never …
Yeah but you never told em about the risks, It COULD cause paralysis if it goes wrong so i heard.

  13. fully agree!also …
fully agree!also there is a high chance for mothers who dont go natural nor to have milk.i mean can not breastfeed, thats what happen to most all my friends.and reason was unnatuural birth.

  14. I’d rather go as …
I’d rather go as natural as possible. If the pain was that horrible people either wouldn’t have kids so much or there wouldn’t be such a surge in natural birthing.

It’s not necessarily going to be a fun thing but it will be worth it once I hold my baby. :)

  15. Hmm, no mention of …
Hmm, no mention of doulas. Why is that? Doulas can help reduce pain through her skilled support, comfort, and pain management techniques. Also, the video says NOTHING about the risks of using pain medication. All of them pass through the placenta can can affect the baby. If you’re going to list the options for the mother to choose, list the risks so she can make an informed choice. And always offer a doula as a choice!

    ouch.
    ouch.

  17. This is sooooo bad. …
This is sooooo bad. Women are being drugged up in the hospital and it’s killing babies. Women are very strong. They have been made to believe that they are weak and need these things. They need this because it’s difficult for a woman to give birth on her back. It’s counterproductive. The woman needs to move. Midwives and unassisted have a WAY LESSER MORTALITY rate because it’s how nature intended it. Please research and don’t let “modern” medicine scare our powerful women.

  18. Women must be …
Women must be allowed to choose their own method. If you want “natural”, fine. But women must not feel guilty if they want to ease the agonizing pain of birth by modern methods like Epi. I found water, massage, “support”, of no use as the awful pain was the only reality. It wiped everything else out.. Drugs are not evil. We owe a lot to them. My mothers high blood pressure pills saved her life. The contraceptive pill saved mine! Birth is not an illness but it sure feels like death by torture!

    Here in the …
Here in the Netherlands where women deliver at home, a male doctor said that most of them are not “prepared” what to “expect” and that one can’t wake up an anesthesist at night “just for that”

  20. lmao wow exactly …
lmao wow exactly what clicked in my mind…really i wish to hear a good explanation from guys around..

  21. Multiply your most …
Multiply your most painful menstural cramps by about 1 billion and thats labor pains!

  22. Guys, wat can u …
Guys, wat can u compare the pains of labour to…? it looks horrible! would it help 2 cry!???? lol

  23. Childbirth is very …
Childbirth is very painful, and i think that how you should go about pain management during delivery , should be determined by your own personal pain threshold, I have had three ways, c-section with epidural, Vaginal with epi and natural, I prefer Natural to all of them. I had my epi 17 yrs. ago and still sometimes when i bend over i get a sharp pinch in my back where the Epi was placed…..

  24. I had an epidural …
I had an epidural and I didn’t even feel the needle.

  25. LovelyBlackLace, re …
LovelyBlackLace, re your question on Epi and needles etc. You will not get Epi until labour is well established, so the fear of an injection will be rubbed out by those crashing, agonizing pains. Trying to stay still for the few mins it takes to get Epi is the only problem. You won’t see needle, or care as you will be dealing with pain of labour. Ignore all the propaganda against Epi. Its heaven. Some of the comments here amaze me. Are these people masochists? Do they ENJOY pain?
