    Yah, I learned from somewhere that mixing the shrimps w/cornstarch, refrig and then rinse it, it will give shrimps a better texture.

    A chinese friend used to mix corn starch and maybe salt and water/wine after your 4:28 to get rid of of some shrimps “smell”
    I have fresh shrimp off the boat but sometimes I have to cook with frozen.After soaking shrimp he would drain,then go with what ever recipe he did,I found this helps,any thoughts?
