What is a good breakfast for a high school wrestler before a meet?

It’s my first year, and i had a scrimmage today and almost puked.

I ate 2 eggs and 2 pieces of toast, about an hour and 15 minutes before we started.

What would be a good breakfast that will get me started and not make me queasy?

This might be of help to you.Good luck anyways.

  13. Yeah, my sister was a wrestler last year and I’d say the best thing to eat is probally something along the lines of a bagel or breakfast burito. Eggs aren’t a good idea. hope that helps.

  14. It really has to be something that works for you as everyone is different. I’m guessing you weigh in the day before. I used to eat a couple scrambled eggs and half a bagel. Usually with a 20 oz of water as well. Also a bananna or orange if I felt like it. We also drank carrot juice on occasion.

**I have seen a friend throw-up orange juice right after a match, that wasn’t pleasant to look at.
