I'm in the market ...
I'm in the market for a rice cooker, and I'd heard good things about the 10-cup model. Ten cups is a bigger than I would need for any but the rarest circumstances, so I was glad to see this 7-cup model. I'm still researching, but this definitely on my short list.

try it you will see ...
try it you will see the difference. I'm asian and almost 99% of asian household has a rice cooker.

Cooking rice on the stove vs cooking rice in the rice cooker is totally different.

Cooked rice on the stove or rice cooker is different than steam rice, which is the best rice to eat. (utilizes steaming method)

@jonathansmith1111 ...
@jonathansmith1111 profesional chefs make excelent rice for 100s of people in simple pots. No rice cooker can make the quality of the rice that professional chefs cook. The secret is in the details and timing and knowing what you are doing; the rest is just sales tricks. The most difficult type of rice to cook is the Iranian style rice and no Iranian chef uses rice cookers.
Rice cookers are good for the novice but when you learn how to cook rice you will put the rice cooker back in the box.

I also use my WP ...
I also use my WP Rice Cooker for making other types of meals. My favorite is to put boneless, skinless chicken breast with rice and seasoned liquid in the bottom with fresh veggies in the top basket. I have a slow-cooked meal in about 30 minutes. It's my fast food alternative :)
