pizza from Italy,Hamburger and hot dog are from German what is the most popular main dish of American food.Not apple pie it’s desert.

The Americas gave the world Turkey, Wild Rice, squash (inc zuccini and pumpkin), potatos, tomatos and chillis/bell peppers, sweet potatos, lima bean, avacados and chocolate
You could could probably make a pretty good meal from that lot alone
oh and of course easy cheese

  9. turkey—-and eel—that is what was eaten at the first Thanksgiving. we still eat turkey—eel is not so popular….corn is an American, uh, Native American origional, so is BBQ pork, which is how slaves made the lesser cuts of pork taste better than what the white folks were eating…

    PS: hamburger took the name from Germany, but ancient Romans were used to it, yet. In some
    archeological area (like in Pompeii) you can even still see the molds they used and were they cooked them!
