RANDY STONEHILL – American Fast Food (1990) Christian Rock
November 132009
If you don’t know the music (or the humor) of Randy Stonehill, you’re in for a treat. Along with Larry Norman, Randy forged the path by which all Christian Rock musicians would follow.
It might be enough to know that Randy is an accomplished songwriter, guitar player, and singer whose vocal range seemingly knows no bounds. But more importantly, Randy radiates the love of Jesus.
I had the pleasure of hanging out with Randy after a performance in Ojai, California several years ago. Disarmingly transparent and humble – Randy is the real thing.
He’s also one of the best natural entertainers I’ve ever seen – due in no small part to his love for people. At many points in a Stonehill concert, audience and performer become ‘one’.
We’re featuring several songs from “Uncle Rand” here at Tube Number 3. Please post your comments, so we’ll know if you like what we’re doing.
And be sure to visit the Randy Stonehill website, as he and his band will be back, touring the United States during the spring, summer and fall of 2007.
Cowabunga!

I not only had the …
I not only had the chance to meet Randy Stonehill and hang out with him after a concert but I also got to meet Larry Norman and Rich Mukkns before they oth passed away. All 2 of them were amazingpeople to get to know personally and talk to on a normal persons level. None of the 3 of them acted better than the next person, but very easy going and amazingly friendly.

SOME people? – …
SOME people? – Don’t kid yourself! MOST people are “contradictory” (rebellious) just like you until they meet the spiritual truth face to face & must make the decision: Is Jesus Christ a liar, a lunatic or the LORD (Read Gospel of John)

Thanks for a good …
Thanks for a good vid with great sound-most youtube offerings are more concerned with visual than audio! Very few combine the two. I was saved in 1974 at Calvary Chapel & listened to Christian rock, Randy & Larry & later, Keith Green & later, Bob Dylan, influenced my music & ministry..So thankful for the gifts of God in the Body of Christ. Larry will be missed(gonna do “Rock That Doesn’t Roll & I Wish We’d All Been Ready” this Sunday to remember him) Pray for the Bride to be ready for the Groom
